Autistic children are in extreme selfish reaction and have made a lifetime of selfishly controlling, reactive choices from the time they were in the womb. The positive choices they do make do not usually touch their core. Typically, they are superficial responses for some perceived selfish benefit.

If a parent were to be that loving friend, he or she would also have to change negative intentions and choices related to their child on a subconscious level. Autistic children most often respond more positively to caretakers and teachers than they do their own parents. This is a sad but true fact. Perhaps, with honest communication and accurate information, and most of all true love and sincere caring, the reality of the autistic child’s painful inner state can be positively changed.
